Chalk It Up! 2012
This is one of Sacramento's best art events. Every year for 22 years, people come decorate the sidewalk with chalk. Some are very realistic. Some are pretty juvenile. All done in a spirit of fun. Sometimes, as in the case of many of my works, you can tell that the artist was trying to be much more ambitious than their capabilities allow.

My eighth year at Chalk It Up!
Here's my effort this year. I'm happy with the progress I made on Saturday. It will be done on Sunday.
